What is High Porosity Hair?
High Porosity hair has a cuticle that is slightly lifted. This makes high porosity hair very porous making it difficult to hold on to moisture. On the flip side, this means that water, oils, and other types of products can be easily absorbed into the hair shaft. What is Low Porosity Hair?
Low porosity hair has a cuticle that is slightly closed so it doesn't easily allow moisture to be absorbed into the hair shaft.
