Need Some Guidance

hey everyone, haven’t been on this app in a few years but definitely wanted to come back for 2025. I finally had the courage to get all my ends trimmed and all the damage off by a professional beautician. Now I’m looking to know what are my next steps with maintaining my hair care journey. I’m still learning how to blow dry my natural hair as well as learning how to straighten it. But I simply cannot afford getting $120 silk presses every two weeks. I wanted to know if washing and blow drying was enough or did I need to also straighten my hair as well. within my consultation with her, I learned that I had low porosity hair as well as she recommended in the future I would benefit from a keratin treatment as well as professional hair dye to help open up my cuticles so the moisture could penetrate my hair better. Either way, I hope everyone a happy journey was growing their hair been following for years. also, can someone recommend a good blow dryer and hair straightener please. Love you guys and good luck.

Hi! Im new here, but wanted to say Cyn has a video about blowdrying. I think it was the tymo one, it was small black and had some kind of magnetic attachment if i reember correctly. she also has said the vlowdryer brush was ok in another video. Maybe try to go to her amazon store too! Good luck. For the flatiron i personally use the babyliss and I love it. t
