Your hair is made of a tough protein called KERATIN. A hair follicle anchors each hair to the skin. The hair bulb forms the base of the hair follicle. In the hair bulb, living cells divide and grow to build the hair shaft.

A Keratin Treatment is a chemical process that smooths and shines frizzy hair. This is not a replacement for a relaxer. No matter the formaldehyde content, on a basic level, this treatment will go into the hair follicle and inject porous areas with Keratin an essential hair protein. Your hair will appear healthier, because it actually is.

Keratin is a Protein Treatment used to smooth the hair cuticle to make hair more manageable day to day for those that dobt want to deal with their curls or frizz (as much).

Just like any chemical service you open the cuticle. Once the cuticle is opened on your chemically treated hair it remains high porosity until new hair emerges from the folicle. For example, if you had #lowporosity hair before a chemical service you will have #highporosityhair after the service is complete because the chemical had to open the cuticle. This is why #cheaphaircolor #boxhaircolor doesnt get the job done. You must use something strong enough to open and close the cuticle safely while restoring what the chemical removes get you to your final result.

Hair is a deep science just like your skin, eyes, heart etc. Doctors study the body on a internal level. A GOOD #COSMETOLOGIST studies hair FROM THE INSIDE OUT. Learn about the chemicals you use before you use them.

What is Keratin

This is why seeing your stylist on a regular basis is very important after any chemical service. We know what to do. GOOD #cosmetologist knows exactly how to keep your bonds in tact. If you want to do your hair, please educate yourself before you touch any chemical.

Stay tuned! What chemicals do you use in your hair? Do you have breakage right now? Let talk about it!
