I want to start wearing my hair blown out or silk pressed but I work out and sweat in my scalp. How should I handle this? The brushing especially. Should I be washing my hair once a week too?

Yeah I would never advocate replacing my weekly normal wash day with dry shampoo. If I have intense workouts and cannot wash my hair soon afterwards I use a small amount of dry shampoo with rice starch not corn starch. But again this is not something I would use by itself, I still wash my hair weekly, detox my scalp with scrub at my scalp turnover week to avoid build up of my scalp and avoid decreasing my sebum production.
