There are so many growth hacks and there is one trying to make comeback but we must leave it be! Growing up we were taught to grease our scalps because our hair is dry. We had it wrong loves. Let me explain.
Your hair grows out of a sac known as a ”follicle”. A oil called ”sebum.” secrets out of the hair follicle and down the hair shaft to the ends. It takes sebum twice as long to get down a curly hair strand so the Hair appears dry. It is not the scalp that needs oil but the hair shaft.
To keep your hair growing at a fast/normal rate there are two steps to follow.
Step 1: Keep scalp clean and sanitized. Keep follicles clean and unclogged.
Step 2: Retain length
Now that you know how the scalp works pretaining to hair growth let's talk about ”BlueMagic” and all petroleum based products.
Petroleum is a fossil fuel fossil. A fossil fuel is formed from the remains of dead organisms.
Petroleum is a naturally occurring liquid found beneath the Earth's surface that can be refined into fuel. Petroleum is a fossil fuel, meaning that it has been created by the decomposition of organic matter over millions of years. It is formed in sedimentary rock under intense heat and pressure.
This version is like coal but in a liquid form. Dead Sea creatures go to the bottom of the sea floor. Their dead bodies are covered with sand and clay along with pressure from the sea.
Heat and gas under the ocean floor turns their bodies into PETROLEUM. They extract through a oil wheel. It’s black first before the fractional dissipation. They heat it up to separate the different components.
The u.s uses the many forms for hundreds of things :candle wax, gas for your car, making paint, building roads etc.
It’s not moisturizing your hair. I know it feels like it but here is the truth. When you put Petroleum on your hair it acts as a barrier keeping water closer to the hair shaft/skin. It’s a aid that's all. It locks water/moisture in but it's a Band-Aid not a cure. It's great for retaining length ON THE HAIR SHAFT, but it is not at all good for the scalp. Keep petroleum-based products far away from your scalp and hair follicles! All these hacks are aids to help our already powerful bodies. You scalp already produces its oil. A layer of any petroleum-based products on the scalp blocks oxygen from going in and hair from coming out. It cuts off the oxygen supply, which kills the hair follicles slowing down or completely ending hair growth!
