Hello cyn. It is the summer. I love me a silk press but it is getting too hot for that. I do love to wear perm rod sets. But I was wondering if there’s any other hairstyle styles that I can do for the summer. My hair goes to my neck when stretched. This picture was from last night. Sorry I was very tired in this picture 😅

Hair currently

As you can see this is the damage from natural styles in the front. This is from hair weathering from last year. Its grown out quite a bit. If I cut bangs that damage would be gone but im debating 🤔. My hair did grow regardless. I did give myself a trim. Seen with the burnt orange shirt. The Grey shirt was before the trim. I took off some length in the middle front but nothing drastic. Im wondering if I should do face framing just wondering. But I might just leave it alone. So that's the hair 🥰

Trims

Is it possible to get a trim after doing a wet set, even if it's not the best? The trim would have have been for an event.

Verdant Scalp

My scalp and hair is thicker than its ever been. Healthy patterns spanning an extended amount of time with very few breaks. I only had 2 breaks. One was a sew in the other was using curly styles for 2-3 weeks. The curly styles weren't as good as well as the sew in for certain reasons due to the install. Nevertheless I've been able to recover from these styles with patterns and routines for verdant scalp and weightless hair shafts that dont have buildup and have cuticles that can open and close. My hair shaft itself used to be fine but now is medium to coarse because of my patterns. This didnt happen overnight. I've been on this journey since August 2024. I am not a part of the 7 day challenge or growth cycle blueprint. I have ingested everything and have practiced the habits and routines. Sorry for the…

My latest cut

I am finally almost even thank God. Hair is getting healthier. It got a little unhealthy in the front due to curly hairstyles. So weathering happens to a lot of us. It was hard to detangle and very dry. I had to go back to the science ASAP. This is the last major cut. I mainly cut the front to match the back because it was asymmetrical before. In my other posts you couldn't see but the front was longer than the back. Not on purpose but by accident. Which is why getting a stylist is very important. So your hair can thrive. ❤️❤️❤️

Silk Press Appointments

At the end of every silk press video I have watched, the client's hair is wrapped and a plastic cap is added. Why is this done and what temperature did you use? Thanks.
