Chebe is all over social media but what is it? Firstly, this is not a hair growth aid but a length retention aid. Each ingredient was selected to keep the cuticle clean and healthy to open and close as normal. None of the ingredients block the follicle or cuticle. This is a mixture of ingredients that can be used as a dead skin remover and calp scrub. For example "Cherry pits" are used on the face to remove dead skin cells. When left on the scalp Cherry pits act on the dead skin layers of the scalp. Since the body goes through a natural skin cell turnover cycle, sitting a exfoliate on the scalp regularly will throw off your skin cell turnover cycle. When the skin cell turnover cycle is thrown off you have extreme flaking, itching and burning on the scalp. Chebe should only be used on the hair shaft never on the scalp. Always apply at least 1 inch away from the scalp.
What is Chebe?
Chebe powder is “a powder made with cherry seeds, lavender, resin tree sap, cloves, and stones.
Cherry seeds (prunus mahaleb)- Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, provides natural and effective hydration. These seeds add hydration while protecting hair from free radicals (bacteria).
Lavender Rich in antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Keeps the hair shaft clean and the hair's cuticle naturalized.
Clove The antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of clove is higher than many fruits, vegetables! When ground the properties are released. This is another powerhouse ready to nourish and protect your hair during the protective styling process.
Resin Tree Sap- antibacterial properties which prevent the damaged tree from getting infected. In this same way, pine resin can also be used to heal our wounds. A natural antiseptic, pine sap is also anti-inflammatory, and its stickiness helps it close wounds. This keeps end from splitting during the styling and braiding process. This is one of the most vital ingredients!
Stones- This sounds crazy but are ground down extremely fine. This acts as a binder to combine all ingredients.
Combined these ingredients make up my favorite length retention product ever!

Hi CynDoll. I have questions about the “New Routine” PDF. When should the “cleanse the scalp with oil mixture” be implemented? Since starting the challenge, I haven’t used any oils in the scalp. When it says style your hair with heat no more than every 3 weeks, does that mean weekly heat style is not advised? I thought that was okay. I completed the challenge last year and thought that was okay. Maybe I need to revisit it lol
